Prepress studio of Univest PrePress provides services in integrated prepress of publications for many international publishers according to the European model.

Under the range of services we understand exclusively the work of technical specialists (scanning, color correction, artistic retouching, collage, putting of images to the layout, layout verification, error correction, preparing pdf files, etc.), not including the development of publication style and its creative, artistic, and design elements.

We make creative ideas of a designer a printing reality, taking advantage of years of experience, knowledge of printing technologies, regulations and prepress specifics. The customer accepts the work in digital, analog, screen color proof.

The package of services offered below can be provided in the remote mode for delivery of source materials and transfer of the work in e-version via electronic means of communication.

Services

Complex of services for prepress of magazines, catalogs, and other printed materials include:

• layout and make-up (optional);
• scanning;
• image processing;
• color correction in accordance with printing house requirements;
• retouching;
• construction of a clipping path or mask (of different complexity);
• collage of images;
• additional make-up of images into layout;
• production of proofs;
• preparation of PS or PDF files according to printing house;
• production of color or black and white prints;
• production of electronic “imposition” in compliance with the printing house requirements;
• recording of the final layout on CD or DVD drives.

The final product is delivered to the customer in one of the options (depends on the client’s wishes and / or the printing house):

• collect of “lay-out + images + fonts” (underwent Preflight-check);
• PSD / PDF - files (preseparated or composite);
• films (of final product size or print size in case of “imposition”).
